(DIY) SEMI-GUIDED ARCHERY HUNT~
Semi-Guided hunts are all inclusive and include 6 nights of lodging (basic sleeping cabin with twin bed), meals with 5 days of hunting and game pack out. Breakfast and dinner is a hot meal, and all lunch materials, snacks and bottle waters are provided to bring out into the field. Other beverages includes tea, coffee, soda and gatorade. Alcohol is welcome but not provided.

You will take yourself by vehicle to the trailhead and walk into your hunt area and we provide advice on areas to hunt. Typically a 4-wheel drive vehicle is adequate to get to any trailhead and you may consider bringing a UTV/ATV but those do require a $25.25 permit from the forest service which you can purchase online when you buy your tag. Allow 3-4 weeks for delivery of any tag or permit purchased online.
- Clients are responsible for knowing the rules and regulations of their state laws for transportation of game.
- Clients are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from basecamp and transportation of game to home
- Terrain can be rough so we suggest you google the area within a 5-10 mile radius and along Forest Service Rd. 250 of Jasper Colorado in units 80/81 before booking.
- Clients are responsible to have all required licenses and tags for the species that you are hunting. License and tags are not included in this package.
- Archery is a Draw Tag for units 80 & 81
- Draw tag application process is online via: https://cpw.state.co.us/learn/Pages/BigGameLicenseOptions.aspx
The application period opens March 1st, with the deadline being the first Tuesday in April. Draw result notifications will go out by email the first week of June. - If you book a Draw Tag Season with us and are unsuccessful in the draw application process, we will rollover your deposit to the following year and hold your spot.
~PROCESS TO BOOK: Visit our website: www.cherokeetpoutfitters.com Hunting Packages page, Click on BOOK YOUR HUNT choose your 5 consecutive day hunt, continue and make payment via credit card or bank draft. Please use bank draft whenever possible. Credit card charges apply. Bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit then final payment by AUGUST 1st of your hunt year. Once you have made your payment, download the appropriate contract and condition form, fill out and email back within 10 days for booking to be complete.
