Welcome to Aikens Lake Wilderness Lodge!
Welcome to a spectacular wilderness setting that has not changed for 10,000 years! Aikens Lake Wilderness Lodge sits amongst a beautiful birch stand along a sandy beach on the northeast shore of Aikens Lake since 1948. Located near the inlet to the Gammon River in the Atikaki Wilderness Provincial Park in Manitoba, Canada, world class trophy fishing is a cast away.
Since 1949, Aikens Lake Wildnerness Lodge has been providing the most exclusive Canadian fly in fishing experiences to a highly discerning clientele in a spectacular wilderness setting that has barely changed in 10,000 years. Set along a sandy beach in the province of Manitoba within the Atikaki Provincial Park, guests of Aikens Lake Lodge benefit from one of the best and most unique locations for Canada fishing trips.
At Aikens Lake, we guarantee the most unforgettable fishing experience. Our Pro-Staff Guides have years of experience and will work with you, whatever your fishing level, to catch some truly magnificent fish. Our guides will also prepare the freshest Shorelunch with fish caught that morning with favorites like Beer Battered Pike and Cajun Walleye.
Gold standard accommodations
When you are looking for Manitoba fishing lodges or for an unforgettable Canadian fly in fishing adventure, there is only one option that can offer the Aikens Experience. Whether you opt for our remote outpost cabin on Lost Lake, the legendary Great Owl outpost or our fully serviced main lodge, we guarantee that the experience will be nothing short of amazing. For the very best of Canada fishing trips and a reward like no other, we have the accommodations to suit your needs.
What is unique about your fishing trip at Aikens Lake? Start with the fact that our lake is the second deepest in Manitoba at 295 ft, offering plenty of habitat and structure where fish thrive naturally. Add to that our catch & release policies to have kept all our big fish thriving and spawning in our lake for the past few decades, and top it off with the knowledge that we are the only ones on this lake and river system, and you have a recipe for a fishing trip of a lifetime!
Many men, woman and fisherkids have earned their Manitoba Master Angler Awards on Aikens Lake! There are seven main species of fish found at Aikens. Aikens Lake is renowned for bountiful walleye fishing with the lake record being 33.5". To round out our "Big 3", we also boast some hefty trophy pike and lunker lake trout.
